YEREVAN. – The Yerevan international airport Zvartnots suspended the flights of the Armenian national carrier Armavia on Thursday because of days off, including Monday. The company did not repay the debts to the airport in time, Armavia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Such transfer is possible only in two-three days, and this step is a warning by the airport. However, the airport wants the company to transfer some money on the eve of a holiday [the Day of Independence], as next days will be days off again,” Armavia claims.

Earlier the agency informed that the Zvartnots international airport suspended the flights of Armavia Air Company on Thursday.

“Zvartnots will not serve the Armavia flights because of accommodated debts. Armavia has considerably exceeded the limit provided by the agreement,” spokesperson for Zvartnots airport Gevorg Abrahamyan told the agency.
