YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan awarded a group of representatives from scientific, educational, healthcare, economic, art and cultural fields, as well as Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies in connection with the Day of Independence.

The awarding ceremony took place on Thursday at the Presidential Residence. The President congratulated the gathered on Independence Day noting that Armenians still have much to themselves and the entire world, presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We should never forget, no matter whether we are weak or strong, not only our existence but also the regional stability and security depend on peace,” Sargsyan said.
