President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on the Independence Day.

“I am confident that friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation will serve a basis for development of relations between Ukraine and Armenia in the future. I am confident that with joint efforts we will be able to preserve and strengthen traditionally close ties between our nations,” he said in a congratulatory message, Analitika.at.ua reports.
