TROY. - A monument dedicated to the Armenian Genocide victims of 1915 will be erected in one of the parks in Troy city, New York State. The Mayor Lou Rosamilia confirmed that the Armenian Heritage Memorial would be placed on the previously consecrated place. The memorial will reflect the positive contributions that the Armenian community has made to Troy and the capital region, The Troy Record reports.

Pastors Bedros Shetilian and Stepanos Doudoukjian had consecrated the place last December, where the memorial will be erected after the park is renovated.
