YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, on Wednesday will receive Ministry of Emergency Situations’ (MES) young rescuers’ team members, who returned from Belarus where they took part in an international meeting of young firemen and rescuers that was held from September 17 to 23.

MES young rescuers’ team comprised seven children—two girls and five boys—ranging between the ages of twelve and sixteen. The children took part in competitions and field trainings, and they received awards in the “Debut of the Decade” and “Best Newspaper” categories.

The meeting’s main objective was to help the youth acquire skills in working in emergency situations and to encourage cooperation among the young rescuers from a variety of countries.
