YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Armenia, Bassam Muhammad al-Qabandi

Margaryan expressed a conviction that the partnership ties between the cities of both countries can assume a new quality for development. 

“The [Yerevan] Municipality is always open for cooperation and stands ready to discuss any proposal,” the Mayor stressed, the Municipality Information and Public Relations Department informs. 

In his turn, Ambassador Bassam Muhammad al-Qabandi assured that he will do his utmost to strengthen relations between the two countries, and to find common grounds for interaction in urban economy and to develop them. In addition, the Ambassador reconfirmed Kuwait City mayor’s official invitation, addressed to Taron Margaryan, to visit the Kuwaiti capital.     

The interlocutors also discussed several other matters of bilateral interest.
