YEREVAN. – At the invitation of French President François Hollande, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will head to that country in early November. To note, Sargsyan was on a huge tour to the US and, subsequently, he had headed to Brussels and France, before the previous presidential elections in Armenia, Hraparak daily reports.

“To the question: ‘Will there be such tour this time as well?’, our sources close to the Presidential Palace said ‘no.’ They are probably scared. [Because] Serzh Sargsyan had left from one Armenia and returned to [altogether] another Armenia, as [First President and current opposition bloc Armenian National Congress leader] Levon Ter-Petrosyan was waiting for him as a real [presidential] alternative.

Sargsyan will visit solely France in November. [And Azerbaijani president] Ilham Aliyev [likewise] was in France these days. The well-informed claim this visit will have a very interesting detail, [but] they do not want to speak about it beforehand,” Hraparak writes.
