YEREVAN. – Armenia’s United Nations mission in New York was the venue for the official signing of the protocol on establishing diplomatic relations between Armenia and Bhutan.   

But before the ceremony, Armenian and Bhutanese FMs, namely, Edward Nalbandian and Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk, held a meeting. 

They underscored the establishment of diplomatic ties and expressed a conviction that this will contribute to cooperation within international organizations and to friendly interaction, Armenian MFA press service informs.

Also, FM Wangchuk informed Nalbandian about the course of the democratic reforms underway in Bhutan.
