YEREVAN. – Technical parameters of the speedometers installed in the Yerevan streets became an issue for discussion in the Parliament during the question-and-answer to the Government on Wednesday.
To note, head of the "Achilles” Center for Protection of Drivers' Rights Edward Hovhannisyan said on Tuesday that installed speedometers are not certified and they do not measure the speed correctly. Hence, the MP Hovhannes Margaryan asked the Government whether it is truth.
In response the PM said that he got assurances from the police that speedometers measure correctly and there is no risk of incorrect fines. Anyway the PM promised to clear out certification and accuracy of speedometers.
