Russian President’s special representative for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvidkoy called to resume people-to-people contacts between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

His comments came as he arrived in Baku to participate in an international forum.

Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan have recently become more tensed, he noted, adding that serious work is needed to resume people-to-people contacts.

Shvidkoy believes the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan must display their will, as the future of dialogue depends on compromise, Trend agency reporetd.
