The epicenter of the earth shocks was the same locality where another strong earthquake was registered last September, GHN reports referring to Georgian National Survey for Seismic Protection.
As NEWS.am reported previously, 6.2 magnitude strong earthquake hit Georgia last September. The quake destroyed 736 houses in the region.
