YEREVAN. – The Armenian Consulate in Aleppo is the sole foreign diplomatic representation that has not been closed, FM Edward Nalbandian said Monday during the budget discussions at the National Assembly.
“Despite the complicated situation in terms of security, our consulate [still] operates [there]. The Syrian Armenians must know that we have a representation in Damascus and in Aleppo alike, and it can provide appropriate assistance, if necessary,” Armenia’s FM stated.
