January 23, 2010 at 10:00 local time Mashhad-Tehran passenger train derailed in Iran.
The accident occurred near Azadver station, Jogtay city, IranPressNews agency reports.
According to Governor of Jogtay, the accident killed 8 and wounded 12 people.
The accident causes are not clarified yet. Criminal proceedings were instituted.
