YEREVAN. – The twentieth anniversary of Armenia’s Intelligence Forces was formally celebrated in a capital city Yerevan military unit (PHOTOS). Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Yuri Khachaturov, senior MOD officials, military attachés from several embassies, and numerous guests were on hand at the event.   

Subsequently, the respective military agency representatives were awarded with medals and decorations.  

“The Armenian soldiers’ centuries-old knowhow is at the heart of the intelligence division of Armenia’s Armed Forces. It is being perfected. This division of the troops differs by its combat and physical readiness, high professionalism, patriotic spirit, [and] ability to make quick decisions in difficult conditions. We are proud of our intelligence personnel,” Seyran Ohanyan told news reporters.
