FIFA President Joseph S. (Sepp) Blatter said that FIFA intends to hold 2018 World Cup in Europe at the meeting with Spanish Premier Jose Luis Zapatero.
“The candidates for hosting World Cup 2018 are UK, Russia, as well as two duet states — Netherlands-Belgium and Spain-Portugal,” Blatter outlined.
