January 26, 2010 American servicemen pulled a man alive from the rubble of the destroyed buildings in capital Port-au-Prince two weeks after Jan. 12 devastating earthquake.
A 35-year old Haitian was immediately hospitalized, ITAR-TASS reports. His body was covered in mud and dust, however he did not seem to have serious injuries.
The man was diagnosed with dewatering, AFP informs.
January 12, 2010 a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Haiti followed by 5.9 and 5.5 aftershocks. Another powerful 5.9 and 6.1 magnitude tremors struck Haiti on January 20 and 22 respectively. January 23, local authorities officially announced the termination of rescue and search operations in the country.
