YEREVAN. – As a result of the introduction of the one-window service system for Armenia’s legal persons, ten percent of the registrations are conducted online, Government Chief of Staff Davit Sargsyan stated Monday during official launch of the e-governance system in the country.
In his words, sixty percent of Armenia’s limited companies are now registered in thirty minutes and the remaining “complicated cases,” in five days, instead of the previous seven to fourteen days. Also, sole proprietors are registered as eighty percent of the businesses, and this process takes a mere ten minutes.
Davit Sargsyan added that there is already one bank in Armenia that works online with the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, in terms of providing bank loans, and he expressed a conviction that the number of such banks will grow in the country.
To note, a major program of online reforms is being launched in Armenia.
