Armenian MP Heghine Bisharyan, the head of the parliamentary group of the “Rule of Law” party, said in the parliament that the closer the presidential elections, the stronger are the statements of political forces, and the situation in the pre-election period may be inherent in any country.

According to her, the political culture and common sense, however, suggest that the battle should take place in an atmosphere of healthy competition, cooperation and dialogue.

“Only a healthy struggle and dialogue can lead to the development and improvement,” Bisharyan said, adding that some perceive constructive suggestions with hostility.

Bisharyan also said that based on this, the members of the “Rule of Law” held meetings in the framework of political consultations with the representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party and “Prosperous Armenia” party.

“Today, the meeting of the Political Council of ‘Rule of Law’ will take place, at the end of which we will express position on the proposals of these forces,” she added.
