Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who was invited to Turkey to attend a traditional religious ceremony to be held in the city of Konya, will not head to the country. 

The Iranian sources informed that the visit is canceled, Sondakika website of Turkey reports. It is noted that Ahmadinejad will soon pay a visit to Iraq.  

Earlier, the Turkish media were focusing on the fact that the meeting between Turkey’s PM and the Iranian president presents a great interest against the backdrop of the crisis in connection with the deployment of Patriot missiles in Turkey.
