YEREVAN. – The Diaspora Ministry of Armenia helped 350 Syrian Armenians to find jobs in Armenia, Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan informed Monday.
In her words, 700 Syrian Armenians had petitioned to the ministry with a request to find them employment. “We are doing everything possible to find jobs for our compatriots that are under a difficult situation,” Hakobyan assured.
“Assistance will be provided to the [Syrian Armenian] entrepreneurs, too. The Armenian Development Agency and the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center are holding training courses for the businessmen, and upon ending them they will be given an opportunity to receive special loans for their projects,” the Diaspora Minister noted.
