Iran is ready for fuel swap necessary for Tehran reactor, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mihman-Parast said at a Feb. 2 press conference.
He underlined that Iran is ready to exchange 3.5 %- fuel necessary for Tehran reactor for 20% fuel. Speaking of a deal with foreign countries, Mihman-Parast stated that Iran has full right to enrich uranium. According to him, Tehran has the necessary technical potential.
The spokesman stated that U.S. cannot drive a wedge between Iran and other Gulf states, and the deployment of anti-missile defense system in Arabic countries is doomed to failure.
The U.S. expanded the number of its Patriot defensive missiles in the Persian Gulf to increase protection from Iran. Patriot systems will be deployed in Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait.
