Yesterday Azerbaijani media spread “information” that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, when answering to the question of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Lithuania during the discussion on Thursday, organized by the European group of Lithuanian Parliament and Information Office, said that the Karabakh conflict solution is possible only in favor of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia explained that during the discussion the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze noted that she respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, however, does not bind it with Karabakh, and she did not in any way mention Nagorno Karabakh, despite the insistence of the Azerbaijani Ambassador.
