YEREVAN.- Preliminary data show the blast in Aleppo university did not affect Armenians, spokesperson for Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Syrian opposition groups launched a rocket attack on University of Aleppo which claimed over 80 lives. Over 160 people were injured. The data on growing in number casualties is provided by Syrian governmental sources.

Earlier foreign media, quoting anonymous sources, said the university was allegedly attacked by the government. However, later one of the opposition forces Jabhat al-Nusra, which is designates as a terrorist organization by the U.S., claimed responsibility for attacking the university.
