YEREVAN.- Armenia will perfectly pass the upcoming exam - the presidential election, Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan said, speaking at the opening of a three-day workshop for prosecutors and defense attorneys.

The seminar held in the context of upcoming election is organized by OSCE with the participation of the U.S. Embassy and financial support from the EU.

Police Chief said each precinct is assigned a responsible person from the police.

“We have been practicing this method during the parliamentary election and during local self-government election. It has fully justified itself,” Gasparyan said.

The presidential election peculiarities, but the police are ready for them, Gasparyan said expressing confidence that “Armenia’s experience will be an example for others.”

Attorney General Aghvan Hovsepian also declared readiness to identify and investigate reports on violations, adding a working group had been already formed.

“There will be no complaint that remains unexamined,” he assured, underscoring the role of media.
