During the visit of the Armenian delegation to the northwestern Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, Tehran and Yerevan signed four memorandums of understanding in the field of mutual economic cooperation.
As the Fars Iranian news agency reports, four memorandums of understanding were signed on Wednesday at a meeting of provincial officials of East Azerbaijan (Iran) with the Governor of Syunik region of Armenia Suren Khachatryan and his accompanying delegation in Tabriz.
By the Memorandums of Understanding, Eastern Azerbaijan and Syunik will enhance mutual cooperation and bilateral relations. Based on the agreement, the two provinces will increase cooperation in the field of cattle-breeding, veterinary medicine and joint agricultural projects. In addition, in accordance with the agreements, Iran will export harvesters, tractors and fertilizers to Armenia.
