YEREVAN.- Political analyst, presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan will not participate in the presidential campaign which will kick off next week.
Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter, Ghukasyan said he would go on an indefinite hunger strike from December 21, the day when campaign starts.
Opposing the decision of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Ghukasyan said he is ready to hold a strike until CEC recognizes Serzh Sargsyan’s nomination invalid. He claimed he will hold a strike “until his death”.
On Friday CEC rejected Ghukasyan’s application to recognizes Serzh Sargsyan’s nomination invalid.
