KAPAN. - Armenia is a strong guarantor of regional peace. This was stated by the presidential candidate, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan this Wednesday at a meeting with voters in Kapan - the administrative center of Syunik region, correspondent of Armenian News-NEWS.am informs.

“The recent military exercises have shown only a small part of the might of our army, but for those in the know it became very clear that there is a strong guarantor of peace in the region and the guarantor is Armenia,” Sargsyan said.

“We are a state, who won a war. Our internal policy aimed at ensuring rule of law, strengthened the peaceful mood in the country. Our foreign policy approaches are in harmony with those of the world community,” presidential candidate noted.

“Safe is not only peaceful, but also secured. It is fully secured state and fully secured citizen. This is not just wishful thinking, there is a solid base. Our economic success will be conditioned by business activity. So it is important for us to encourage investment in small and medium-sized business, and simplification of tax administration. A particular importance will be given to facilitations of starting a business. Cities in Syunik are to live an urban life, recover as cultural, educational and health centers. We have worked and will work in this direction,” Sargsyan sad.
