YEREVAN.- Good neighborly relations are established between Iran and Armenia. Yerevan is a strategic partner of Tehran, Ambassador Mohammad Raiesi told reporters in Yerevan.

Speaking about centuries-long cooperation between Armenia and Iran, Ambassador said relations between the countries can serve as an example for many states.

“Armenia and Iran have strategic relations. Armenia’s interests are interest of Iran and vice versa,” he said.

Iran and Armenia have recently signed a treaty to implement a number of projects, Ambassador noted, adding it is his duty to implement joint programs. He is confident that implementation of projects will contribute to development of both states.
