Iran has already produced its first stock of 20 per cent enriched uranium, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at the Feb. 11 speaking at the meeting on the occasion of 31st anniversary of Islamic revolution.
According to him, Tehran propounded foreign states to supply 20% enriched uranium to Iran.
Iran gave an opportunity to foreign countries to grant Iran fuel for Tehran Amir Abad lab but no avail.
He also underlined that country has capacity to triple uranium production, “but has no intention to do it as there is no need.”
“We do not seek nuclear weapons. We are brave enough to admit it,” Press TV quotes Iranian President.
