YEREVAN. – Solely three have remained of the research centers of D-Link International Pte Ltd. international company, and one of these centers is in Armenia, D-Link Armenia Director Armen Shahnazaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

In his words, D-Link’s research center in India was closed and completely relocated to Armenia. Its other research centers are in Russia and in Taiwan.  

As per Shahnazaryan, D-Link Armenia had 107 programmers, with an average monthly alary of $900, at the end of 2012. Half of them are in capital city Yerevan, and the other half, in the second-largest City of Gyumri. At present, however, the programmers are downsized to 64, so they can choose from this year’s graduates. In Shahnazaryan’s words, the number of programmers is expected to reach 200 by the end of 2014.

Aside from Gyumri, a D-Link research center will be established in Yerevan, too. As per Armen Shahnazaryan, D-Link does not seek profit in Armenia. The company has a product named “Soft,” and a part of it will be manufactured in Armenia.
