YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday received Ramin Mehmanparast, the official representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nalbandian gave a high assessment to relations between Armenia and Iran, and noted that mutual visits contribute to the development of cooperation, Armenian MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his turn, Mehmanparast informed that his visit to Armenia was quite hectic and, during the talks, agreements were reached with respect to establishing cooperation between the media of Armenia and Iran. 

The interlocutors underscored the holding of consultation meetings between the MFAs of the two countries.

In discussing regional matters, Edward Nalbandian highly appreciated Iran’s balanced position concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
