YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Chairman of the Kuwaiti Parliament Ali Fahad Al-Rashid on Friday discussed development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

During their meeting, the Minister stressed importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, stressing that the contacts in this format significantly contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.

Minister Nalbandian said he has good memories of his official visit to Kuwait, adding that agreements reached during the talks are being implemented.

Head of the Kuwaiti Parliament expressed his support for the work of two governments in order to strengthen bilateral relations.

The two sides noted that after the opening of embassies in Kuwait and Yerevan relations between the two countries have reached a qualitatively new level.

Officials discussed the steps aimed at development of political relations, economic and humanitarian ties. They also exchanged views on efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis.
