YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian arrived in Yerevan State University (YSU) on Monday.

To note, a students’ protest against the rise in tuition fees is underway at YSU.  

Nalbandian passed next to the protesting students and entered the YSU Central Building, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informs from on location.

In response to a journalist’s query as to why he disregarded the students, the FM stated: “If I am disregarding, why should I come and meet with the students?”

As every year, this year too, Edward Nalbandian came to YSU to meet with the first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations, the Yerevan State University news service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
