YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has not discussed the new candidates for the office of the Prosecutor General.

RPA National Assembly Faction leader Galust Sahakyan noted the above-said during a press conference on Tuesday. 

In Sahakyan’s words, it is inappropriate to discuss this matter at this time because the current Prosecutor General is still in office.    

“We will discuss this matter when his term in office comes to an end,” the RPA official added.

To note, the term in office of serving Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan will end in mid-September.
