A new search engine for Armenian and Armenian-language websites called “Hanguyc” (or Hsearch) is created, “Hanguyc” group head Mher Abrahamyan told NEWS.am-Innovation, adding that Armenian it is of strategic importance.

“We need to have our own search engine. For instance, if Google decides to block Armenian websites, it will easily delete them and Armenia will be off system,” he added.

According to him, Hanguyc search has unique features, as allows any word searched on any website without visiting them. You can simply enter the web address and press “search”, and the necessary information pops up.

“The database is updated daily and shortly any Armenian word in will be included in the search engine,” stressed the head of “Hanguyc” group that was set up in 2003.
