The first meeting of the joint Belarusian-Armenian commission on scientific and technical cooperation is being held in the Armenian capital on October 14-15.
The Belarusian side was represented by Leonid Demidov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus, Belapan reported.
The agenda includes around ten questions, including discussion of the priorities of Armenian- Belarusian scientific and technical cooperation, reviewing the procedure for tenders of research programs in the framework of bilateral scientific and technological agreements signed between Armenia and Belarus.
In addition, the meeting will discuss the prospects of establishing an international research center for the study of aquatic ecosystems.
