March 28, at 9:38 p.m. local time, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit Chile.

U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake epicenter was 120km west of the Talca city, at the depth of 21 kilometers.

No information on victims and casualties is available. Tsunami warning was not issued.

As NEWS.am reported previously, February 27, at 3:45 a.m. 8.8 magnitude massive earthquake hit Chile, 320 km north-west of the capital Santiago. According to U.S. Geological Survey epicenter was 100km north-east of Concepcion city. An initial tsunami warning was issued for Chile, Peru and Ecuador. Under latest data, death toll reached 452. Over 100 people are reported missing.
