YEREVAN. – Ameriabank is ready to be engaged in the deals involving lease of new aircrafts for Armenia, bank’s corporate customers director said.
Talking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, Gagik Sahakyan said the bank had already informed Air Armenia, a new Armenia-based air company, about their readiness.
“The theoretical answer is yes. We are ready to discuss the options. Although, it is better to know what the company is ready to invest in its development,” he added.
Sahakyan assured that Ameria Group is familiar with the civil aviation industry in Armenia.
“We provided assistance to McKinsie in their analysis based on which they then made proposals to the Armenian government. Besides, Ameriabank has an experience of working with Armavia, the former passenger carrier. So the industry is rather close to us,” he emphasized.
