The RA Former President Robert Kocharyan and Former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian should stand trial in Nagorno-Karabakh for anti-Armenian nature of Madrid Document on Karabakh issue settlement. The RA Former Deputy Defense Minister and Social- Democratic Party member Vahan Shirkhanyan stated, adding that “Kocharyan-Sargsyan regime” lead Armenia to deadlock.

“Madrid Document is a fact and it is of anti-Armenian nature. Robert Kocharyan and Vartan Oskanyan should stand trial in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Shirkhanyan underlined, adding that these principles are the result of Armenian side’s liking to money and power.

Shirkhanyan offered some points that Armenian side should follow while settling Karabakh conflict. He supposes that Armenia does not have territories which should be returned to Azerbaijan, the return of Nakhichevan is the only problem.

After 900 days of war, the troops were in 2 days distance from Russian border and stopped on their own will. If the war resumes, we will reach the border," Shirkhanyan said. On his opinion another problem is that “European organizations support illegal Armenian authorities in order to dictate anti-Armenian principles.”

“Armenian side should thoroughly reconsider its participation in these organizations. Artsakh should not only participate but negotiate itself. Armenia has to do nothing but to guarantee Karabakh’s security in the talks,” he concluded.
