UK Ambassador to Armenia Ambassador Jonathan Aves congratulated Scots on the occasion of Saint Andrews Day.

“I wish all Scots and friends of Scotland wherever they may be, and especially in Armenia, a very happy Saint Andrews Day,” he said in a message on Facebook.

“In their referendum in September next year, the Scottish people will have to decide whether to remain a nation within the United Kingdom or to become an independent country. Whatever decision they make, I am sure that the peoples of the United Kingdom will continue to live in peace and friendship, supporting each other in good times and bad”.

Saint Andrews Day is marked on November 30. St Andrew’s Day is marked with a celebration of Scottish culture with traditional Scottish food, music and dance.
