YEREVAN. – Argentina’s Ambassador to Armenia Diego Alvarez Rivera usually spends Christmas together with his family.

“My family tends to come together on that occasion. We try to keep in mind the spiritual message that Christmas brings and we normally attend religious service early on the 25th,” he told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Ambassador said that Christmas is a family celebration in Argentina. People gather around the family table to celebrate on the evening of the 24th of December. At 12 o’clock, the tradition is to have a toast and for the kids, to open presents.

“My best wishes for the Armenian people and for the Republic of Armenia in the coming year.”
