On the initiative of Turkish Vice Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, a telephone conversation was held with Head of Religious Council of the Armenian Patriarchate Archbishop Aram Ateshyan.
Arinc told Ateshyan that ban on donations to the Armenian community enterprises by Istanbul Funds' management was lifted.
It became known that no law against the donations existed, it was simply misinterpreted. Thus, funds of Armenian community may receive donations.
