YEREVAN. – MP and singer Shushan Petrosyan, who had a road accident, has a craniocerebral trauma, and she is in stable condition.   

Armenian Ministry of Health Chief Anesthesiologist-Reanimation Specialist Anatoli Gnuni told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

Gnuni noted that Petrosyan is in the Intensive Care Unit of Nairi Medical Center, in capital city Yerevan, and she needs to undergo several medical examinations.  

“She can speak; she is conscious. She is not an Intensive Care Unit patient. It’s just that, in such cases, we keep [the patients] in the Intensive Care Unit, to keep under supervision,” Anatoli Gnuni added.   

A road accident occurred Tuesday in Yerevan at around 12:10am. A Toyota, driven by Yerevan resident Eduard Tonoyan, 38, and a Renault, driven by Yerevan resident Aram Hovhannesyan, 58, crashed at a Downtown Yerevan intersection.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the Toyota driver, his two passengers, and the Renault passenger sustained injuries and were hospitalized. The Renault was a taxi, whose passenger was renowned singer and MP Shushan Petrosyan.
