A blast hit the center of Lebanon’s capital on Friday morning, editor of Aztag daily Shahan Kandaharian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He said a car exploded in the center of Beirut and targeted former minister Mohammad Shatah. He was killed.
The reports say six people were killed and several dozens were wounded. The ambulances are arriving at the site.
According to Reuters, the explosion was heard across the city.
