The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service (NSPC) workers installed a new digital seismic station at the NSPC Sevan Observatory.
The new station enables to study, in more detail, the seismic activity at the active Pambak-Sevan fault line, and to improve the quality of seismic risk assessment in Armenia.
The seismic sound was measured and the recordings were analyzed near the observatory. Subsequently, an educational training was conducted for the observatory staff.
