YEREVAN. – Armenian ombudsman’s report on corrupted judges contains no facts, Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan told reporters on Thursday.

In December Armenia’s Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan released a report accusing judges of taking bribes and criticizing the Court of Cassation. In his report, Ombudsman presented the amount of bribes paid to judges.

“We have provided detailed explanations on each fact covered by media. We must act by facts, not empty words. There has been no application on the fact of giving or receiving bribes,” he said, once again adding that the report contains no facts.
