YEREVAN. – The average AMD/US dollar exchange rate made 408.09 /$1 on Friday, 1.48 point increase as compared with the previous trade session. The US dollar rate is gradually rising since the beginning of the year.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.92 (up by AMD 1.40), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.26 (down by AMD 0.02), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 669.92 (up by AMD 0.68), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,085.61, AMD 256.37, and AMD 18,565.36, respectively.

The sales at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange reached $9,230,000. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.91 /$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 408.88 /$1.
