YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 408.16/$1 in Armenia on Monday.

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.07 rise from the previous day. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 557.67 (up by AMD 2.75), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.32 (up by AMD 0.06), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 670.89 (up by AMD 0.97), informs the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,327.85, AMD 259.83, and AMD 18,699.77, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 1,350,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 407.75/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 407.75/$1, the stock exchange informs.
