YEREVAN. – The polemic between the second president and incumbent PM is not a start of any serious political process, Armenian analyst said.

Sergey Minasyan is convinced that political element is out of Armenia’s domestic policy. Ex-president Robert Kocharyan’s statements are an attempt to show that he is engaged in the country’s domestic policy.

“The elections are over, and campaign struggle will start only in 2016. Unless there is force majeur, the current dispute is unlikely to lead to any crucial political event,” he said.

As to Kocharyan’s comeback, the analyst does not think that politician would like “to make a false start after a long break”, unless his goal is to launch a long political struggle.

In his recent interview former president slammed the government and PM in connection with the gas agreements with Russia and introduction of cumulative pension plan.
