YEREVAN. – Armenian second President Robert Kocharyan does not forgive those whom he brought to politics and made someone.
Opposition Armenian National Movement (ANM) revival initiative group member and former MP Hovhannes Igityan noted the aforesaid at a press conference on Thursday.
In Igityan’s words, it was Kocharyan who brought serving PM Tigran Sargsyan and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan to politics, and therefore he does not forgive them for making statements that are unpleasing for him.
“Especially since Kocharyan was a saint for them at the time; these people used to call him king. Now, however, they dare to attack him,” the opposition member said.
He added that if they have something to say to each other, they should sit in front of one another and say it.
The ANM member noted that if Kocharyan wanted to become PM, he knows where the Presidential Palace is, and therefore would go there and say it.
Consequently, Hovhannes Igityan believes that Robert Kocharyan is offended by Tigran Sargsyan’s criticisms, and this is the reason for his recent statements.
